A full day of touring the surrounding town’s of Torbay and South Hams with coastal views.
We start with a drive out to Torquay via the quaint village of Cockington, stopping for a stroll around the village. Followed by a drive along the coast to and through Paignton and into Broad sands where customers can get out and take a stroll along the coastal walk, If they would prefer (entrance at the customers expense) they can take a look at Greenaways where they can take in the delights of Agatha Christies former home situated high on the bank of the river Dart, near to the Steam train Railway.
From here we drive into Brixham known for its fishing port, where William of Orange landed. Here you can stop and enjoy the views from the tourist spots. We then travel into Kings weir and cross on the ferry into Dartmouth for Lunch, (we can quote for lunch to be included but would need to know customers dietry requirements) Following on from Dartmouth we then drive back through the countryside, along the river Dart, passing through Dittisham, Cornworthy, Tuckenhay and finally back to your Hotel.
South Hams Cabs chauffeur Tour Option B
A full day visiting DartMoor national park
Starting with pickup from your hotel, we go directly to Haytor, a large rock situated up on the moors where outstanding views of Torbay and the surrounding areas can be seen.
This is where customers are encouraged to walk to the top to experience the beautiful scenery. From here we travel out to other view points and hopefully spot some local wildlife and end up at widdercombe on the moor for lunch (again lunch can be provided but need to know customers dietry requirements i.e, pub lunch or packed lunch). We go on through the moors visiting places like two bridges, Dart meet, Prince town with its infamous Dartmoor Prison. On the journey back we also stop at Badgers holt, Into Ashburton for a little stroll around the shops after which we return back to your Hotel.
